Jenny O’Riordan is an Irish-qualified solicitor with 20 years’ experience in the fields of corporate law, corporate governance, regulation and compliance and a strong foundation in real estate, tax-driven real estate structuring and commercial property development.
Having graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Civil Laws degree from University College, Dublin, Ireland, Jenny qualified as a solicitor in 1998. She also holds a Master of Arts in European Integration from the University of Limerick and Diplomas in Property Tax and International Investment Funds from the Law Society of Ireland. Jenny previously headed the Legal, Risk and Compliance functions for the Corporate and Institutional Service Line of our parent company, First Names Group, where she worked across a number of regulated and unregulated jurisdictions such as the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland and the UK. Prior to joining the Group in 2018, Jenny worked as a lawyer in Enterprise Ireland (the Irish Government’s economic development agency); was Managing Partner of Fitzgibbon O’Riordan solicitors; and was a senior associate with one of Ireland’s largest law firms. Keen to expand her skills, she is currently undertaking a course of study to become qualified to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales. She was recently recognised by the Legal 500 for inclusion on the General Counsel Powerlist for 2017.
