Prior to moving to Jersey in 2006, Swedish-born Emma made use of her many talents working in the catering business, running a guesthouse and being a productive seamstress. With a strong inclination for solving complex calculations, she started in the hedge fund industry and today manages the day-to-day business of 12 Japanese funds.
Emma achieved an economics degree in 2005 and then added a degree in mathematics from the University of Malardalen in Sweden. She has since gained over eight years’ experience in the funds business, specifically focusing on investment evaluations.
Emma once built and stayed the night in a snow bivouac while on a cross-mountain ski trip. The temperature was around -15C at the time!
