The Jersey branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD) has unveiled its shortlist for this year's Jersey Director Awards. Among those nominated, is Moore Management’s Head of European Fund Services, Jon Trigg, who has been shortlisted for ‘Director of the Year for a Medium Organisation’.
Jon has been named in this year's annual search to find the top leaders in Jersey’s private, public and voluntary sectors. The awards are designed to celebrate strong leadership and recognise excellence across the business community and public sector, the ceremony will once again be hosted by special guest speaker, renowned writer, broadcaster, former MP and Government Whip Gyles Brandreth.
Jon progressed quickly through the ranks of structured finance and alternative investments, and was promoted to Head of European Fund Services in 2013 after joining Moore as Private Equity Director earlier the same year. He is a Director on multiple clients’ boards and is approved to act as a Key Person under Jersey regulation. Jon is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Talking about his nomination Jon said;
“I am a slightly taken aback by my nomination as I wasn’t expecting it. The IoD is a fantastic organisation and I cannot speak highly enough of the work they do in the local Jersey business community. I love leading the team at Moore Management, the last few years have been hugely challenging and rewarding and I could not be more pleased to be part of such a great and forward-thinking team.”
The winners will be revealed at the IoD Jersey Director of the Year Awards Gala Dinner on Friday 29 April at the Hotel de France. All Jersey winners will be put forward for the UK IoD Director of the Year Final Awards later this year.
